Informu has created a new pocket-size personal property tracker that is small enough to be attached to almost anything from your passport, luggage or anything else you would like to keep secure.
Mu tag takes the form of an intelligent flexible chip integrated within an easy-to-use companion smartphone application and has been specifically designed to help keep your belongings safe.
Check out the demonstration video below to learn more about the tag and the companion application which are available to back from just $15 for super early bird backers with shipping expected to take place during December 2017.
The developers at Informu explain a little more about their new tracker its inspiration and design.
"The Mu tag is a small, discreet electronic tag which can be attached to belongings that matter to you. Through our small design and smart notifications, we encourage you to live stress free without having to worry about losing track of your belongings. The Mu tag communicates with your smartphone or smartwatch and notifies you when you go too far away from your belongings. The app also remembers your safe locations so you don’t get any false notifications.
The Mu tag is composed of two modules: the main micro-controller module, and an interchangeable and rechargeable battery module. Using the Mu tag is easy. Simply attach it to any belongings that you don’t want to lose and we’ll take care of the rest. Need to remember to take your passport and carry-on for a flight tomorrow? We’ll be sure remind you by syncing with your calendar. Need to remember where you parked your car? No problem, we’ll remember where you last left it!"
