It’s not just tech companies who are re-positioning themselves as software-centric. Fortune 500 consumer brands, banks, traditional equipment manufacturers, and car makers are all pivoting away from being just a ‘Company’ to being a ‘Software Company’. In other words, coding and software innovation is not just for silicon valley – every corporation in america is joining the “Industrial Revolution of Code”. The more software and the cloud integrates with consumer goods, transportation, hardware, etc – the more we will see innovation move from ‘manufacturing’ to ‘coding’ – no matter the industry.
